The rich and famous get hypothyroid, too. Hypothyroidism does not distinguish between social class and hypothyroidism is not a lifestyle disease.

However, there is one big difference: People like me might not be able to afford a private doctor – the rich and famous do.

We need change – it is not ok that some people don’t have the posibility to see another doctor who is positive to other kinds of treatment than T4-only medication.

Unfortunately a lot of people with hypothyroidism who still have symptoms on the standard treatment are not allowed to try other kinds of medicine, like T3 or NDT (natural desicated thyroid).
